Where Beautiful Thinking Becomes Radical Action
The Congregation of Eunoia is dedicated to the restoration of individual agency and spiritual sovereignty through the practice of Beautiful Thinking. We bridge the gap between spiritual development and human necessity — providing peer-led advocacy, housing transition services, and community stewardship to those navigating life's most demanding transitions.
We empower the vulnerable through the study of self-governance, economic integrity, and radical social goodwill. Our goal is simple and profound: true health equity and genuine self-sufficiency for every person we serve.
Reconnecting individuals to their innate authority, dignity, and capacity for self-determination through contemplative practice.
Lived-experience leadership. Those who have navigated the system guide others through it — with credibility no credential can replace.
Teaching administrative literacy, resource navigation, and financial self-governance as tools of genuine liberation.
Building mutual accountability and collective care in the spaces where our community lives, gathers, and grows.
Ordained Minister · Flow Artist · Administrative Advocate · Community Builder
Rev. Shawn Hittle built the Congregation of Eunoia from the ground up — literally. An ordained minister, self-taught administrative systems navigator, and dedicated flow artist with seven years of public practice, Shawn embodies the mission he leads.
Having lived the full spectrum of community transition in Ventura County, Shawn brings a level of credibility and authentic understanding that no academic credential can confer. He has taught himself federal contracting frameworks, nonprofit administrative process, and grant systems navigation — all while remaining deeply embedded in the community he serves.
"Beautiful thinking is not a luxury. It is the first act of liberation."
For seven years, Rev. Hittle has practiced contact staff flow arts daily in the public spaces of Ventura — a living demonstration of presence, discipline, and beauty emerging from simplicity. Flow arts are not performance. They are practice. And practice, faithfully maintained, becomes transformation.
The Congregation of Eunoia is developing a community flow arts program rooted in mindfulness, peer connection, and the healing power of disciplined creative practice — available to all members of our community regardless of circumstance.
Movement as medicine. Art as agency. Flow as freedom.
Right now, a contribution of as little as $200 puts a flow staff back in the hands of a minister, artist, and advocate — and launches a community program that transforms lives.
